Lake Charlevoix Association Volunteers
The LCA relies on volunteers to assist with projects and programs we promote each year. Volunteering is a great way to support our efforts to protect and preserve Lake Charlevoix.
We need some helping hands with our Phragmites control, Plastics Reduction Initiative, Boat Count, photography, shoreline protection initiatives, board activities, our annual Students Experience Lake Charlevoix trip, on-site presentations and administrative support. These activities alone require the help of 75 volunteers or more.

Our Committees
Membership
This committee solicits memberships and evaluates ideas to enhance member value. We currently have over 600 members and are always looking for more.
Environmental Committee
The Environmental Committee oversees treatment of invasive Phragmites on the Lake, studies the locations and factors that cause Swimmers Itch, manages our plastics reduction program, and supports shoreline health programs.
Financial Committee
The Financial Committee manages our annual budget, applies for grant support from area foundations, and seeks funding for special projects.
Communication Committee
Our communications include our biannual newsletter, e-news letters, email blasts, local newspaper articles, and promotional or educational literature.
