Organizational Plans.........The creation of an "Eyes and Ears" program!

It is important for the Lake Charlevoix Association to do its best to understand the issues, ideas and concerns of Lake Charlevoix residents and of all those that enjoy the lake. Hence, the Board of the Lake Charlevoix Association has decided to introduce a program that will enhance two-way communication between lake users and the LCA Board.

At the heart of this program will be a number of volunteer LCA representatives appointed to cover designated waterfront areas around the lake. Depending on items such as, lakefront population and Township boundary lines, each linear section may be from 3 to 5 miles in length.

It is our plan to have these ambassadors act as conduits of information and motivation between the LCA board and members in their waterfront section. We foresee cleanup, environmental and perhaps social events organized by these shoreline representatives. One of the more important aspects of this program is to make it as easy as possible for lake users to provide meaningful feedback to the LCA Board.

Anyone interested in participating as a Shoreline Ambassador, please send an email to info@lakecharlevoix.org.
